A new scheme for creating rural
electricity infrastructure and completing household electrification named as
“Rajiv Gandhi Grameen Vidyutikaran Yojana – Scheme of Rural Electricity
Infrastructure and Household Electrification” was launched by Hon’ble Prime
Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh in 2005.
